Compositions
Doubles Methods
A collection of more obscure touches for doubles methods. It concentrates on touches of more than 120 changes, i.e. Touches of 240, 480 and 720 in which each change occurs the same number of times at handstroke and backstroke. The article gives more details.
Minor Methods
This collection of touches for minor methods is a computer generated list of all possible touches of various categories. The lengths of the touches vary and the compositions are grouped under a variety of headings. Although (it is hoped) that each collection is complete there will be possible collections not represented here. This is because the number of collections will grow with time and because there are too many possible collections for the author to address. If the reader would like any collectiuons that are not given here then he should be contacted at the email address on the Home Page of this site.
Since this work is in progress it will be necessarily crude. Compositions will be listed in great long lists until the author gets time to sort them into better lists. Click on the links below to select available collections.
Extents – Bobs Only:
The following links contain extents (720 changes) of Treble Bob minor methods. For plain methods each one should be doubled by calling a single at the end and repeating (including the extra single). The singles could be called anywhere as long as each was in the same place in each half of the 720. Method groups are labelled according to the traditional minor group letters G to P. Group letters for major equivalents, A to M, are shown in brackets.
Many of the extents do not come round. This is not a problem for peals where multiple extend are rung since one simply observes what the final row is from the tables in the links and calls two other extents with the same final row (Rev. E. Banks James arrangement).
